Dr. Reyes is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist. Also a Cumberland County native, she understands the importance of giving back to the community through education and access to professional services. Dr. Reyes specializes in psycho-legal assessment and has spent much of her career providing court-ordered psychological evaluations. She has worked in a variety of capacities including forensic psychiatric hospitals, juvenile and adult probation departments, residential treatment facilities, circuit courts, outpatient mental health centers, and state agencies. Her areas of testing specialty include risk assessment, competency to proceed, criminal responsibility, firearms evaluations, fitness for duty, sexual recidivism, parental capacity, bonding, and immigration. In addition to completing forensic evaluations, she also provides assessments to clarify diagnosis, estimate intellectual functioning, provide recommendations for accommodations at school or work, and for pre-surgery clearance. Dr. Reyes has been called to testify in court as an expert witness on numerous occasions.

In addition to her assessment experience, Dr. Reyes has worked in a wide range of therapeutic capacities. She most enjoys working with juveniles within the criminal justice system, as well as adults court-ordered to participate in anger management, domestic violence, competency restoration, and sex offender treatment.

When not working, you can find Dr. Reyes playing with her three dogs, reading, or practicing yoga.
